Afriken was founded by its visionary Paul Mulwa and co-founder Susan Njoki, in Nairobi, Kenya on February 2019. It has come a long way from its beginnings in Outering, where it was built upon the labor of workers in the informal sector in its preceding years- to whom we are grateful for our success.
Power shortage and rising electricity bills is no strange thing to most of us. When we first started out, our passion for reliable and affordable energy drove us to explore renewable energy, and gave us the inspiration turn it into to a promising solution for others.
